Technical Investigation

Historical research provides a contamination hypothesis in relation to your site. Working on that basis, we then draw up an investigation plan for exploration purposes. We take soil, soil vapour and – where necessary and possible – also ground-water samples from the locations deemed most likely to be contaminated. The samples are then sent to an accredited test laboratory. Technically competent, professionally executed sampling is essential to obtaining informative results. Where suspected contamination is proved to exist, a detailed investigation is required in order to assess its spread and the level of risk it entails.

The more detailed the technical investigation, the greater the level of planning certainty will be. In this way, cost risks are identified and quantified.
